Our History
Once a humble “Locanda” that provided respite for weary travelers during long journeys, the quaint building took on a new life after a passionate restoration. Its rich history unfolded with each layer peeled back, revealing stories of tired adventurers seeking shelter and sustenance.
With a fresh breath of life, the old inn transformed into a charming restaurant, embracing its roots and becoming a focal point for both locals and wanderers alike. Situated along the scenic routes of the Chiantigiana road - Tuscany, it became a haven for drivers participating in the renowned "Mille Miglia” car race, an event that echoed the spirit of vintage cars and endurance. Moreover the restaurants has been named after the great italian driver Tazio Nuvolari.
The echoes of clinking glasses and hearty laughter now replaced the weary footsteps of the past. The restaurant seamlessly blended tradition with modernity, a place where the essence of Tuscany's local and traditional cuisine thrived. From the kitchen wafted the aromas of hearty ribollita, handmade pici pasta, and succulent bistecca alla fiorentina.
The tables, once merely resting spots for tired travelers, now bore witness to lively conversations and shared moments over plates laden with authentic Tuscan delicacies. The walls adorned with vintage photographs and Classic Cars memorabilia paid homage to the inn's dual history, honoring the weary wayfarers and the spirited cyclists who had once sought solace within its walls.
As the sun dipped below the rolling hills, casting a warm glow on the restaurant's facade, it stood not just as a place to dine but as a living testament to the timeless spirit of Tuscany. A fusion of history and gastronomy, the restaurant had become a cherished destination where the past and present converged, creating an enduring tapestry of memories for all who passed through its doors.
